Re:
Request to expense my spiritual journey to Olympia London

I am formally requesting that Northwind Payments send me to Breakpoint 2026, November 15–17. Our stablecoin settlement runs on Solana, and I have explained what a validator is at three consecutive all-hands. I have earned this.

Why it pays for itself

  • The wallet and payments teams we integrate with will be in one building, which means I can finally ask them about that one bug in person instead of in a support ticket from March
  • Eight thousand people who say "gm" unironically. Somebody in there knows why our fees spiked in August
  • I will return with a vendor shortlist and at least one tote bag of strategic value

Plan for the three days

  • Day 1: payments track, partner meetings, aggressively lanyard-networking
  • Day 2: developer sessions on performance and tooling, pretending I understood Firedancer the first time
  • Day 3: vendor conversations, then a written summary nobody will read but everyone will forward

Cost

  • Ticket (General Admission): $412.50 with code BP26-VIBHU (25% off the $550 list price)
  • Flights from New York: $750 est.
  • 3 hotel nights in London: $780 est. (London, sadly, is London)
  • Total: about $1,940, roughly what we spent on that offsite with the escape room

The ask

Approve the trip by Friday so I can book flights before they cost the same as the ticket. I will bring back notes, a vendor recommendation, and a mild British accent that fades within a week.
